This page describes what this website does with personal data. It is short, because the website does very little.

Who is responsible

The data controller is [legal entity name], [registered address]. For anything on this page, write to [contact email].

What we collect

Only what you type into the demo request form, and only when you submit it:

  • Your name, work email address and company.
  • The size bracket you select for machines in scope.
  • The optional message you write.
  • If you used the downtime calculator and left the checkbox ticked, the figures you entered and the results. That checkbox is yours to untick, and the form shows you the number before you send it.
  • Technical metadata that arrives with any web request: your IP address and browser user-agent string. The IP address is used to rate-limit submissions so the form cannot be flooded.

What we do not collect

There is no analytics script, no tag manager, no advertising pixel and no third-party embed on this website. It sets no cookies. If you never submit the form, we have no record that you were here beyond ordinary server access logs.

Why, and on what basis

We use what you submit to reply to you and to prepare a demonstration relevant to your plant. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to a business enquiry you initiated, and taking steps at your request before entering a contract.

Where it goes

Submissions are stored in our own PostgreSQL database, hosted at [hosting provider and region]. They are not sold, and they are not passed to advertising or data-broker services. The subprocessors we rely on are [list: hosting, email, anything else].

How long we keep it

Demo requests are kept for [retention period] from your last contact with us, then deleted. Ask us to delete yours sooner and we will.

Your rights

If you are in the UK or the EEA you can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to our processing it, or complain to your national supervisory authority. Write to [contact email] and we will respond within one month.

The Karios application

This page covers this website only. The Karios application deployed inside a customer's plant processes that customer's data under a separate agreement, in which the customer is the controller and we are the processor.
